Enhance, Select, Transcend, and Transcend Lineage differ in board profile, appearance, and available features. Compare physical samples beside your siding and trim in sun and shade, then confirm the exact line, color, compatible fasteners, availability, and written warranty. The catalog below provides current Trex options; Battlefield connects those choices to your Northern Virginia project.
A board price is not an installed deck price. Compare proposals with the same framing work, stairs, railings, fascia, lighting, access, and drainage scope. Plan stair placement, views, and transitions to the yard together. For resurfacing, accessible framing and connections must be evaluated before recommending reuse, selective repairs, or a rebuild.
Enhance is a value-focused option with a scalloped underside that reduces board weight. Compare the complete installed scope, not just the board price. See Enhance Clamshell on our Fredericksburg elevated deck with RainGuard, including white railings, black balusters, and lighted steps.
Select includes traditional Earth Tones and newer colors with heat-mitigating technology. Check the features of your selected color; do not assume every Select board has that technology. Our Orange resurfacing project uses Select Pebble Grey with retained black railings, showing a surface upgrade rather than a complete rebuild.
Transcend offers a deep wood-grain pattern and multi-tonal color choices. Compare samples when grain and color variation are priorities, then coordinate railings and fascia. Ask proposals to name the full product line: Transcend and Transcend Lineage are distinct choices, not interchangeable descriptions.
Lineage includes heat-mitigating technology, making sun exposure a useful comparison point alongside color and finish. It can still become hot in direct sunlight; it is not a promise of a cool walking surface. Consider shade, physical samples, and sun exposure on your deck before choosing.

Sometimes. Battlefield evaluates accessible framing, connections, stairs, and overall condition before recommending reuse, selective repairs, or replacement. The structure must suit the selected decking system; a new surface does not correct an unsuitable frame.
Start with the colors that complement your siding, trim, and railing, then compare physical samples at your home. Review the selected line's finish, care instructions, warranty, availability, and installed scope. Decking can become hot in direct sun, so exposure and shade also belong in the decision.
Deck size, height, framing, footings, access, demolition, stairs, railings, fascia, lighting, and water management all affect the proposal. We review the full project rather than treating a board-only price as an installed deck estimate.
Materials carry the applicable manufacturer's warranty, subject to the selected product's written terms. Battlefield Services provides a one-year labor workmanship warranty. Product coverage and workmanship coverage are separate; review the written project agreement and manufacturer documents for terms and exclusions.
